Sarah Grumbling, LMT

Gifted with a keen sensitivity to the subtle forces of nature, Sarah finds craniosacral practice to be the conversation between your tissues and the body’s innate wisdom. With light touch and deep listening, Sarah connects with the body to facilitate unwinding, release, and balancing of the nervous system.

Sarah was first introduced to craniosacral therapy (CST) in 2012 at East West College. Her post-graduate training in this modality includes coursework at the Upledger Institute and studying with Portland’s esteemed CST instructor, Carol Gray. Sarah’s studies have focused on the body’s immune response and chronic depletion, infant craniosacral, and supporting emotional release (also known as ’Somato-Emotional Release’ work).

Many of Sarah’s clients have found relief from debilitating migraines, concussions, neck pain and trauma from car accidents, digestive issues and “stuck” emotions that manifest as physical pain. She has also helped many people come back into their body, and feel more whole, complete and spacious.

Sarah lives in Southeast Portland with her partner John and her mom nearby. She’s in love with Mt Tabor and when not exploring nature, is found painting, knitting, throwing pottery or baking pies (or an occasional over the top birthday cake).
