It’s a great little spot and it’s very welcoming there. She made me feel very comfortable and the treatment has helped so quickly.

What is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis?

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, is a chronic illness characterized by extreme fatigue, cognitive impairments, pain, and other symptoms. Often, these patients visit doctor after doctor and are told that there is “nothing wrong”, and the pain is all in their head. While the symptoms may vary from person to person, individuals with ME/CFS often experience muscle pain and tenderness, which can be attributed to the presence of trigger points.

Can Dry Needling Help?

Yes, dry needling can be one procedure that greatly improves the severe conditions of ME or CFS. By targeting trigger points, dry needling can eliminate the symptoms of increased pain sensitivity, muscle stiffness and reduced range of motion that suffers of ME/CFS experience. Dry needling can disrupt faulty neuromuscular feedback, stimulate blood flow and promote endogenous pain relief.

By addressing trigger points and their associated symptoms, individuals with ME/CFS can experience improved pain management, enhanced functionality, and an overall better quality of life.
