Welcome to To The Point PDX
When you arrive at the clinic, the door will be locked. The door is always locked; if you’re waiting more than a few minutes outside, give a knock and one of our patient coordinators will let you in and give you a tour of the office. Trust us; we know you’re supposed to be there when you arrive!
During the first 30 to 45 minutes of your appointment, your clinician will conduct an intake and evaluation. This may include a verbal intake, orthopedic examinations and/or range of motion testing. The provider may also administer a variety of evidence-based outcome measures to establish a baseline to measure the efficacy of your dry needling treatments.
After the intake, the provider will perform the procedure. You may be asked to remove certain articles of clothing and lay on a massage table either face up or face down in a medical gown.
When you leave the office, you will be given a personalized treatment plan that will outline the course of your care and set clear metrics to assess the treatment plan’s success. Our providers will design a 6-10 visit treatment plan that will help you reach your goals.
You will also be provided after-care instructions, also found here. There will be plenty of time to ask questions.
